How to Play Deal or No Deal
The game might seem confusing to new players. Once you get through the initial stages of play a few times it becomes rather easy. The game consists of various levels and starts with a qualifying round which takes place on the screen with no host or presenter. Sometimes you will qualify quickly however very seldom it could take a bit longer, so be patient.
Before spinning the wheel you must select one of 16 briefcases in which to place your bet. Then you choose your mode (explained below) and spin the wheel.
Qualifying Round
After placing your Deal or No Deal bet you will get the chance to spin a three-reel bank vault with the aim of lining up gold segments that will qualify you for the next round. Players will be asked to select 1 of 16 briefcases as to which one contains the biggest prize. Before spinning the vault you can set the wheel to increase your chances of qualifying by staking a bit extra.
There are 3 different modes to choose from. Normal Mode where all three reels have to be lined up, this will cost you your bet at face value. Then you have Easy Mode where one reel is locked in which means you will only have to line up 2 other reels. Lastly there is Very Easy Mode, this option locks 2 of the reels and gives you the best chance of qualifying, and costs 9 x your stake. Next step will be the Top Up Round.
Top Up Round
This round is 2 minutes and is not mandatory however we would recommend you give it a go as it may increase your winning chances. In this round you choose which briefcase you wish to top up. Select your wager and then you spin the wheel of fortune. If you wager 0.50 and you land on 5x, the value of the briefcase will increase by 2.50. The briefcase value will increase accordingly, whichever bet multiplier the wheel lands on.
Main Game
The main objective of the game is to win the cash in the last briefcase or except the bankers offer. You are faced with 16 briefcases with varying amounts inside. The excitement mounts in each phase of the game! After each set of briefcases are opened; the “Banker” phones and offers a cash amount in exchange for what might be in the briefcase. The host then asks the all important question “Deal or No Deal?”
You can choose to accept the offer and end the game or reject the offer and continue playing. Overall, there will be a total of four offers.
Odds and Payouts
Punters can win up to 500x their bet. Players also have the option to top up their bet by 5x-50x in the top up phase of the game. One must just remember Deal or No Deal is a high risk game and the odds of getting the top prize are slim. You will get a guaranteed payout if you accept the Banker’s offer. So be sure to consider accepting it if it’s more than 2x your bet.
